Summer 2009 Admissions
Current CUA Students

Undergraduate and graduate students of The Catholic University of America do not submit an application for Summer Sessions. Please follow Registration procedures for Cardinal Station.
Newly Admitted CUA Students
Undergraduate and graduate students who have been admitted to The Catholic University of America for the first semester of the next academic year may begin their studies in the Summer Sessions without additional application. Please contact the Office of Enrollment Management to be activated for Summer 2009, then please follow the Registration procedures for Cardinal Station.
Visiting Students (non-CUA Students)
The Catholic University of America welcomes applications from men and women of character, intelligence and motivation, regardless of race, creed, sex, ethnic background or physical handicap. You are eligible to apply for summer courses if you are in good academic and financial standing at your resident college or university.

Step 1. Please complete the On-line application form. |

Step 2. You must submit either:
|
|
A) A transcript from the school you presently attend, or last attended. |
|
or |
|
B) Your Summer Sessions Application Form signed by a designated official in your school indicating that you are in good standing.

Step 3. The application cannot be completely processed unless it is accompanied by the non-refundable $25 application fee. You can pay on-line, or you can send a check to the Office of Summer Sessions. Once you submit your application, you are responsible for the application fee. | |
Students who are currently attending another college or university are urged to obtain the written permission of their dean or academic adviser to ensure that the credits earned at The Catholic University of America may be transferred.
Returning Summer Students-non-CUA
If you have attended Catholic University's Summer Sessions within the past two years as a non-CUA/visiting student, please print out and submit our Readmission Form to enroll in Summer 2009 courses. Students who have attended through the Consortium must fill out a new visiting student application.
Admissions/Registration Confirmation
Once your application is processed and you are admitted, the Office of Summer Sessions will enroll you in the courses indicated on your application form. Please notify the office in writing if you wish to make changes to your class schedule. If you fail to withdraw from any class, you will be charged full tuition and related fees, whether or not you attend the class.
The Office of Summer Sessions will mail an admissions and registration confirmation letter which will include directions on how to obtain your user name, password and directions for accessing your schedule and grades on the Web. You can also use this system to add/drop.
Admission as a visiting student for the Summer Sessions does not constitute or imply admission as a degree candidate to The Catholic University of America.
