What is Session DD? Session DD stands for Dynamically Dated course. These are special session classes that have start and end dates that do not conform to our stuctured 15, 16, 25, and 26 sessions. Academic deadlines are calculated for each special session class. If you are enrolled in a DD class, you should view Cardinal Station Student Center by clicking on the academic link to the left of each class in their schedule. Application Procedures | |

I am a CUA student. Do I need to fill out an application? What is my registration appointment time? |
No. Once you select your courses, register online at http://cardinalstation.cua.edu. The summer term code is 1095. CUA students are responsible for meeting with their dean or advisor prior to registering. Since we have an open enrollment policy during the summer, there are no registration appointment times. All CUA and matriculated non-CUA students may register starting March 15th. |

Can Visiting Non-CUA students take CUA classes? |
Yes. Enrollment is open to undergraduate and graduate students in good academic standing at other colleges and universitites. |
| Will my Summer School class credits transfer to my home school if I am not a CUA student? |
Yes. You are urged to obtain the written permission of your Dean or Academic Advisor to ensure that the credits earned at The Catholic University of America may be transferred as you intended. |
| Is there an Application Process? | Yes. Click here to fill out our on-line application. |
| Is there a deadline for applying? | No. We have an open enrollment policy. |
| Is there an application fee for Summer Sessions, and how can I pay? | Yes. There is a required non-refundable application fee. You can pay online by clicking here or mail in your payment to the address at the bottom of the page. *Payment must be made with submission of the application. |
| How can I pay for my application fee? | Application fee payments can be made securely online by using the credit card payment form or via personal check made out to The Catholic University of America. |
| Do I need to submit a transcript with my application? | Submit a transcript or a signed letter of good standing from your home university. Visiting Non-CUA students must submit the application form and all infomation required to complete the Three-Step Application. |
| What are the requirements for International Students? | International students would follow the admissions, registration and payment guidelines set forth of visiting Non-CUA students. In addition, international students must submit TOEFL scores of 600 or higher. If you require an I-20 form to obtain a student visa, please contact international students to request a visa application form. |

| How many summer courses can I take? | Generally, a student may register for seven credits in a six-week session and for six credits in a five-week session, however consult the Dean of your school if you want to oversubscribe. |
| How do I add, drop or change my courses? | Students may add or drop a course by published deadlines of a given session by using the cardinal station system on the web at http://cardinalstation.cua.edu. You must drop the course via Cardinal Station. Non-attendance does not constitute withdrawal. |

Can I audit instead of taking the course for credit? |
Yes. Both CUA and visiting non-cua students can audit courses offered during the summer in consultation with the Professor and the Summer Sessions office. Those auditing a course will receive the same tuition charges as those taking the course for credit. If you would like to audit a course, contact us at cua-summers@cua.edu. |
| Will Catholic University's summer course apply toward my degree? | Students are urged to obtain written permission of their Dean or Academic Advisor to ensure that the credits earned at The Catholic University of America may be transferred as they intended. The Catholic University of America is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Universities. All summer courses meet or exceed Middle States' standards for contact hours. |
| How do I transfer the credits once I complete the course? | Your Dean will most likely need an official copy of your CUA transcript with your final grade. The Office of the Registrar at CUA must have a completed Transcript Request Form before they can mail out any documentation to your school. There is no separate transcript fee. To obtain a syllabus for a specific course, contact the individual department in which the course is offered. |

| When is tuition due? | By the first day of class to avoid a late fee. For students who register late, tuition is due upon registration. |
| How do I pay? |
You can make payment by either of the following options: 1) Credit Card - Discover, MasterCard and Visa payments are accepted. To make a credit card payment, click on the secured http://treasurer.cua.edu/controller/sa/CardinalPay/ 2) Wire Payments - Payments can be processed via wire by sending to Wachovia Bank, Washington, DC, CUA account number 2100016966793 and routing ( ABA) number 031201467. For international wires, CUA’s SWIFT code is PNBPUS33. Is there a place to eat on-campus in the summer? |
Aramark Food Services provides dining services in the Pryzbyla Center. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served Monday through Friday, while brunch and dinner are serviced on the weekends. You can purchase a meal plan or you can use your Cardinal Card (your student ID) as a pre-pay debit card to purchase meals. |
