Summer Sessions Office

The Office of Summer Sessions is located on the third floor of Pangborn Hall, room 331.  Regular office hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. 

Automobiles and Parking

All motor vehicles using parking on campus, other than metered spaces, are required to register with the Department of Public Safety, located in room 121 Leahy Hall. Fees are available under Tuition and Fees

                    

Bookstore

The Campus Bookstore, operated by the Follett Higher Education Group, is located in the Pryzbyla Center, Ground Level. Regular summer hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. The bookstore will extend its hours during the first Monday and Tuesday of each session until 6:30 p.m. Click on the link to the left for access to book information for your course.

Campus Ministry

The role of Campus Ministry is to support the members of The Catholic University of America in their personal growth and as members of a community who celebrate and live the message of the Gospel. The professional campus ministry staff, composed of clergy and laity; seeks to be an open and affirming presence for students, faculty and staff. During the summer sessions there is a 9:00 p.m. liturgy every Sunday in St. Vincent's Chap

Disability Support Services

Disability Support Services (DSS) determines eligibility for services, provides verification of disabilities, and specifies needed accommodations to university staff and instructors.  All students with disabilities are encouraged to register with DSS and to make themselves known to DSS as early as possible. Services can not be provided until students officially register and documentation meeting University standards is submitted and approved.   Accommodations are not retroactive.

Dining at CUA

Dining services are provided by Aramark Food Services. At least one dining facility will be open each day for every meal during the summer.

10 meals per week plan   $87.50 per week

15 meals per week plan   $127.50 per week

20 meals per week plan   $157.50 per week

Note:  Meal Plans begin on Sundays and end on Saturdays.

CPIT (Center for Planning and Information Technology)

CPIT is located in Leahy Hall, Room 200.  The office provides services which include technical and problem solving support for software, hardware, network services and operating systems.


Mullen Library

The library of CUA provides resources and services integral to the intellectual endeavors of the university's students, faculty and staff. The Mullen Library and campus library collections total more the 1.2 million volumes of journals, books, dissertations and other research materials.

Raymond A. DuFour Center

DuFour Athletic Center

The Raymond A. DuFour Center is the heart of a 40-acre athletic complex. Inside DuFour you will find basketball courts, racquetball courts, a six-lane, 25-yard pool, a weight-training room, an aerobics room and saunas. Outside you will find a tennis plaza, a track and adjoining playing fields. In the summer, the Dufour Center will be open Monday through Friday,9a.m. to 6 p.m.

Student Health Services  provides outpatient medical care on an appointment basis to all registered CUA students, part time or full time - please present your valid student id for service. When the office is closed, the Family Practice Physicians, through Providence Hospital provides phone coverage - Call 202.269.7000, identify yourself as a CUA student, and ask for the family practice physician on call. There is no charge for visits to Student Health Services.  An on-site pharmacy is available for medications prescribed by Student Health Services.  Each student is required to carry a medical health insurance.  However, all students, regardless of the type of insurance are eligible to be seen at SHS. University Center, Student Programs & Events

Newly opened, the Pryzbyla Center is a 104,000 square foot multi-use building that serves as the central gathering place for the Catholic University campus community. It houses campus dining services, a convenience store, the campus bookstore, an information desk, an ATM, a 7500 square foot multi-purpose room, six meeting rooms, and the offices of the Vice President for Student Life, Dean of Students, and Career Services. There are also many student organization office spaces and lounge and atrium spaces designed for studying, meeting friends or just relaxing. The Office of University Center Student Programs and Events (UCSPE) offers conference and meeting planning services, as well as activities for the campus community. Our hours of operation during the summer will be from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., with occasional extended hours.
